Spencer Levin had a 7 stroke lead in the final round at Phoenix, but lost it on Sunday.

It turned out to be a 10 shot swing for Spencer Levin, which doomed his attempt for win number one on the PGA Tour. While others went low in the final round, the Elk Grove pro shot a closing 75 finishing 3 shots back, behind Kyle Stanley. It was Stanley, who the previous week also seemed to have a stranglehold at the Torrey Pines event, only to surrender a big lead down the stretch to Brandt Snedeker. As a Northern Californian, Levin feels right at home on the Monterey Peninsula, and hopes this Sunday gives him another opportunity to close the show.
