Tom Pernice is defying the odds by earning a PGA Tour card as a Champions Tour player

Tom Pernice looks too young to be a Champions Tour player. He's over 50, but still completes with players half his age on the PGA Tour. His schedule is limited, since he plays often on the Champions circuit, but Pernice has won enough money this season to finish in the top 125 and earn his PGA Tour card. Mark Calcavecchia, not exactly the most fit looking player, sees Pernice as a physical marvel.
