Jay Don Blake owns a 2 shot cushion heading into Sunday's final round at Harding.

Plagued with back issues in recent years, Champions Tour Player Jay Don Blake is setting the pace after 3 rounds. His 8 under par is two shots better than Michael Allen, Jay Haas and David Frost. Jay Don finally was able to conquer the par 3 17th hole after 2 rounds of frustration at Harding's shortest hole. Blake has one PGA tour win, and a Champions tour victory earlier this season in a 4 man playoff. Michael Allen meanwhile never did win a PGA tour event, but is finding new life in the over 50 circuit. Sunday's final round, is the season finale of the Champions tour season and the Schwab Cup finale. Unless Mark Calcavecchia who is 4 shots back wins, it looks like points leader Tom Lehman will hold on for the $1million bonus.
