Robert Garrigus leads the AT&T with an opening 7 under par 65 at Spyglass Hill in damp conditions

Long hitting Robert Garrigus used his length on long Spyglass Hill to emerge atop the leaderboard after round one of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The 32 year old who had his sights on a pro baseball career before blowing out his pitching arm, finished eagle-birdie-birdie in firing his 65. Perhaps only Bubba Watson launches the ball further than Garrigus on the PGA tour. With no roll out there today, Robert took advantage of his long ball flite and the lift, clean and place rules in going low at 7 underpar. Just finishing his round, one time tour player Dustin Johnson has joined Garrigus in the lead.
